If so, how did you prepare it? I almost bought a can of spam today, but came to the conclusion that not only would it taste terrible, but I have no idea on how to prepare it without it looking like catfood.

Yeah I eat it every so often. Typically I cut the loaf into medium slices. I fry those slices and then cut them up once again into small bite-sized pieces when it's cooked. While that's happening, I heat up some baked beans and hash browns, and then when everything is finished cooking or heating up, I mix it all together in one big pile of yummy goodness and eagerly devour it.
Either fry it up on a pan and eat it in a sandwich with mayo, have it on the side with eggs for breakfast, or it tastes delicious diced in some sort of stir fry due to its strong flavor. I love Spam :P
fry it in a pan. my parents make it sometimes
My family used to be poor. Spam was the worst thing I've ever eaten :vomit:. There's a reason that's why the worst thing we can call all this excessive, invasive, internet advertising bul**** is SPAM :x

better get used to it. when we have a nuclear war the only meat supply is SPAM!
Mmm quite often (korean stepmother seems to love using it :P). One of my favorite dishes with it is Kimchi jjigae (or simply Kimchi Soup), where the soup tastes amazing and causes a bit of the saltyness to go away while the meat itself absorbs a bit of the flavor of the soup. Tastes amazing on rice.
I don't get why people dont like it. Maybe because I used to live in Hawaii? Anyway, I like it with eggs and rice. And of course, spam musubi
when I was younger, ALOT.
If I come into contact with it now, I'll gag. I look at it as if it's dog food.
Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, baked beans, spam, spam, spam and spam. :lol:Yeah I eat it every so often. Typically I cut the loaf into medium slices. Lol man. My mom used to be poor so she developed a taste for it. I happen to like it. I mean, it's not my go-to food if I had a choice of any meal in the world, but it works for me. I like it scrambled eggs and rice.
Though if this is your first time eating spam in this day and age, there's a good chance it's not for you.
Spam is good when you fry it in a frying pan. It's very good meat to put on a sandwich. They can taste very salty either way though.
Spam is delicious. My wife will fry it with soy sauce and a little sugar. Then just place it over some rice. Throw on a fried egg and enjoy the magic.
I don't know if I've ever had SPAM. I was tol that those tasty "Ham" cubes in the salad bar back in Middle School were in fact, SPAM cubes. if so it was pretty tasty. as far as preparing it, uh, think it's a slice and eat affair. unless you want it hot.
