How'd you tear it and what was surgery like? I've had surgery a couple times, once when I was a baby (but that doesn't count) and once a few years ago without any painkillers or anesthesia. It was on my ear drum too and it sucked.cpo335
I tore it when i was 9(Im now 16), by falling/rolling down a steep wet driveway, I didn't realize I had torn it for 3 days before I went to the hospital. Surgery went well, but the pain started about an hour ago. I have been prescribed Percocet for the pain, Im also on crutches for a few weeks.
I also had my appendix out 2 years ago, now that really sucked.
I had surgery in early september to stop my lungs collapsing, first they sand-papered the top layer of my lung away with the plan being the raw second layer would stick to inside of my chest to stop my lung collapsing again. This failed big time and made my lung collapse,so next they tried injecting me with talcum powder which was sort of like self surgery as I had to do all the work :) .
I reacted badly to this and all my organs became inflammed and was in agony for few days.I am upset as i missed Amon Amarth live(least i got to see Blind Guardian who i would have missed if i had my operation on first planned date) as what was planned to be a 4-5 day visit turned into 18 days with another 4 days at home with the chest drain still in and I still have a staple in my side as they screwed up putting it in and 3 staples have come together and formed a ring and they couldnt get them out, thinking of putting a key-ring on it :).
I recorded most of it and plan to upload to youtube when i have the time, unfortunatly they wouldnt let me record them taking the chest drain out which is a shame as it made a awesome noise
I had my tonsils removed, they didn't give me any happy medicine >:(

Ouch, that sounds bad. I didn't know surgeons let you record surgery, It would have been interesting to have seen mine, oh well.I had surgery in early september to stop my lungs collapsing, first they sand-papered the top layer of my lung away with the plan being the raw second layer would stick to inside of my chest to stop my lung collapsing again. This failed big time and made my lung collapse,so next they tried injecting me with talcum powder which was sort of like self surgery as I had to do all the work :) .

Yah, i had a small tumor on the back of my tongue, i wanted to wake up with one of those tubes down my throat like on TV/movies but i didn't :(X360PS3AMD05
I have. Feels like a sore throat when you swallow. When a nurse notices you're awake and able to breathe on your own they remove it.
Yes, several and too many. I had my four wisdom teeth taken out last summer.
However, the worst ones are the three operations on my throat. All on the same incision. I have hyperparathyroidism, and so far the doctors have taken out 3.5 of my parathyroids. Hopefully that's all that will need done for a while.

A: Yes, I had my gallbladder removed a year ago. It was my first ever surgery. The best part was when they gave me the Valium through the IV omg I have never, ever felt that good in my entire life lol. I'd love to have surgery again just for the Valium lol. I was scared so they gave it to me and afterwards I was like whoaa what's that lol. But, then for the pain they gave me Percocet. That helped a lot. Didn't they give you pain medicine?
Well when I was little I had my upper lip tore straight down the middle (as in literally you could grab both ends) and
even higher up towards the bottom of my nostrils, but I didn't get surgery it just healed on it's own.
