I remember that at one point Wikipedia said that Super Smash Brothers Brawl was a real-time card game. Anyone ever do something like that?

I edited Al Gore's page one time, adding this rediculous story about him and a little girl.......yea, it didn't last long:P
Nope. For me Wikipedia is actually a useful general-knowledge tool. I've never actually seen (or noticed) any "joke" edits either.

Might try that out sometime, just never bothered creating an account to do mischiefs.

You actually don't need an account. You could go on right now and say that spaghetti grows on trees.I haven't done it but my friend did once at my school and he deleted a lot of an article. Now our school is IP banned:lol:
No, I've seen articles that have been joke edited but I'd prefer that Wikipedia's info be accurate, who knows someone writing his term paper might right the joke as fact :o
That's a little cruel if someone did a research paper on that particulary page you edited. CleanPlayer
If anyone uses Wiki for a legitimate research paper, they completely deserve it.
One time I was playing cards with my brother, and we ended up having an arguement about the pronounciation of the word "suit" (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades).
I said it was pronounced like "suit" (Like a suit that you would wear) and he said it was pronounced "suite" (like a hotel suite).
Anyways... He went to wikipedia on his laptop and, while I wasn't looking he edited the wikipedia page for the word "suite". He added in a paragraph about how the word is also used in cards...
I thought something was fishy, so I told him to refresh the page, and when he did they had already changed back.
I made a page about my best friend and wrote some made up stuff about him :lol:BioshockraptorThat's a great way to get revenge on someone. ( writes it down)
No, but once I noticed that Neil Armstrong was changed to Neil ******.
I'll leave it up to you to figure out was those asterisks mean...
Not to mention all of the unreleased games with fake dates. That made me really mad
I've never edited wikipedia jokingly or seriously. I have, however, come close to editing the lolcat Bible. I gave up halfway through translating...
Hence the reason wikipedia should never be used as a source. Ever. Actually go to a library or look up journal articles online. It's not that difficult of a thing to do...No, I've seen articles that have been joke edited but I'd prefer that Wikipedia's info be accurate, who knows someone writing his term paper might right the joke as fact :o

I never had but I remember doing a project in class on the planets and suddenly learning that Mexican Hippies live on Mars.
Thank You, Wikipedia!

It said Jupiter when I checked. Hmmm...
Could it be that wikipedia was wrong?? All of my teachers since fifth grade said not to use it, but still!!!!!eleven!!one!
Yes. One time my brothers and I got on and said Paris Hilton and Keanu Reeves had anal fissures. The post was deleted within 30 minutes, and our IP address can no longer post on Wikipedia :P
I did....horrendous things to the Jonas Brothers' page while board in school one day. They temp blocked that IP address. :D
Halarious site, though some people just add idiotic things to it.Nah. I go to uncyclopedia instead, and it's like the joke-editing is already done. Except that it's permanently there..

No I havent and its not cool for others to do it. Alot of people including myself use Wikipedia for accurate information.
