Have you ever met anybody famous?

Have you ever met anybody famous? Who was it and what were they like? Where did you meet them? I plan on meeting Rick Perry at a campaign rally within the next week. I'm so pumped. Hopefully I can get my picture taken with him. I've always wanted to meet Charlie Sheen, Tony Danza, and David Hasselhoff. Any stories?

Nah i've seen a few cool people though in my capital city.

I've seen Dave Mathews around town, but I always wanted to meat Dave Grohl.

one time me and my bro and my friend were walking back to school 10 minutes late, and megan fox was standing outside the trailer with some people (cuz she was shooting a scene at our school). but we were too scared to go and say anything and i remember some guy was looking at us like WTFhadoken

I've met a few famous people, but the only picture I have is this one.

I met Courteny Love backstage once, back when she was still going out with Kurt C - I didn't say much as my mate did most of the talking. She was actually rather sweet though. I went out for a few beers with James Blake the other day, alongside a chick from Warpaint. James was most pleasent - quite quiet, very humble. Down to earth bunch really. I've had dinner with the guys from Sneaky Sound System over here in Oz, and The Cuban Brothers too (hilarious). I've 'talked at' a couple of others, but wouldn't qualify as actually having met them.

I saw Christopher Reeve in New Orleans once.

He was in a wheelchair being pushed a woman, and there were about three other people with him.

He was about 8ft away from me, but I didn't say anything to him. I didn't really know who he was, because I was only 11 years old at the time. My mom just pointed him out while we were walking on the sidewalk.

That was in 2003, a year before he died.

I also met Ludacris outside of a club on Bourbon Street two years ago.

He was just drinking and talking to people for a few minutes, then he left in a limousine.

That's about it. :P

I don't count seeing people live in concert as "meeting" them. Otherwise, I would have named all the bands/singers/rappers I've seen on stage at a concert.

I have met various race car drivers over the years like Harry Gant, Dick Trickle, Dale Earnhardt, Davy Allison, Michael Waltrip and others. I also gave Rick Nielson from Cheap Trick a beer while driving up highway 58 on Okinawa the day they were headed to Kadena AB to leave for the next stop of the 1st Airborne Rock and Roll Division USO tour.

I met Edward Norton when he was shooting here in Canada fior the incredible hulk, it was the final fight with abitionation and I was an extra :)

Most recently I met Mike Tyson at a gaming convention of all places for SXSW last year. He was there for the launch of his ipad game. He's a nice guy nowadays.

Several years ago I met Kevin Durant, Damien James and D.J. Augustin at BestBuy in the gaming section. It was right after we(my school, TX Longhorns) lost in the NCAA Tourney. They were all very cool. I guess KD would be the only one considered famous, but they all play in the NBA now. When I met him, I thought to myself, I just met the future best player in the NBA.

I met Jedward (Irish twins) - best day ever. I gave them big cuddles :3

World famous? Lucy Liu and Akira Yamaoka (of Silent Hill fame). Akira signed my copy of Silent Hill 2 and took a pic with him. Lucy was very down to Earth and polite but she said that she wasn't allowed to take pics while her entourage was around, who were like 6 people. This was at a hotel lobby.

It doesn't count, but the entire Juventus F.C. football club squad stood a few feet away from me, including Del Piero. And of course, the concerts I've been too. Most recent being Deadmau5 and Coldplay.
