Several family members who are war vets. One close friend currently in the military. Other than just military, I don't know anyone who has taken a life. Or maybe I do, but they just haven't revealed such to me.
A few of my family members were in wars, so yeah. I also met a few former gang members who supposedly killed a few people, but they were never caught...
I've met plenty of people who were in the military at some point, including World War II vets, as many people have, so I think it's rather highly unlikely that I haven't, even though I don't recall it ever actually being stated. This question as it is currently worded seems rather arbitrary. The answer is probably yes for just about everyone even if they don't know it.

[QUOTE="StopThePresses"]I dont know about that, its pretty rare to meet someone that killed someone. Nowhere was it ever said you had to know them well. The question was if you've ever "met" someone that did. I've met lots of people in life who I would never even remember if I came across them again, let alone know their personal history.I've met plenty of people who were in the military at some point, including World War II vets, as many people have, so I think it's rather highly unlikely that I haven't, even though I don't recall it ever actually being stated. Actually I have and it wasn't a military thing.
I work at a nursing home. One day I was sitting there talking to one of the ladies I had to take care of. She is this really awesome, sweet, and soft-spoken lady.
Well, she starts talking about her life and that and went on about how she used to own a club and this bar in Detroit.
Then she went on about how she had been attacked 10 times in her life.
She started going on about all those different encounters and then calmly told me about how she had killed this one guy.
He had tried attacking her in her bar. She got a safe distance away and pulled out her handgun. Told him to stop and even fired warning shots. The guy still came towards her so she shot him and he died.
Turned out he had killed like 4 people prior.
Lady is a hero in my book!
