have you ever started laughing during a play?

i went to see my neighbors school play the other day. it was the "king and i" and at the very start they were sailing to the city and one of the characters lines was look theres bangkok. And all i could think about was punching my dad in the nuts, so i started laughing uncontrollably and my neighbours dad was sitting next to me giving me a funny look because he thought i was laughing at their acting which was actually pretty good

Yeah, actually. It was during a production of Bang Bang, You're Dead, which is a very serious and depressing play about a school shooting. Well, there's this one part where everybody on stage starts laughing. One of my friends in the play just so happens to have the funniest laugh you'll ever hear (I'll have to record it and post it on YouTube). Whenever I, or anyone else for that matter, hears his laugh, it's very hard not to laugh myself. So, during a very serious part of the play, I start laughing uncontrollably. The people around me started giving me some funny looks.

I find now would be an appropriate time to bring up the "Shakespeare aficionados", the kind who laugh very loudly at the appropriate moments in Shakespeare's comedies, regardless of how funny the content actually is, in order to show his understanding of Shakespeare. I hate people who do that.
