and if you have to ..what the way that you will choose ?

1. Nope. I'd say I have a pretty good life.
2. Hmmm...if I absolutely had to, I would choose the gun because its just a click and BOOM! your dead.
Back in 1992..but not really since...though I'm not feeling that great the last 24 hours...but not that bad, either.
Suicide is for cowards. It takes courage to face adversity. Often times the best way to get past something is to plow through it. You might be ending your pain but it just gets multiplied and thrown on your friends and family.
Cowards.
Yeah, I have had a lot of suicidal thoughts over the past five years or so. I even made a really lame, pathetic, stupid, weak attempt when I was 13. I still have the scar from it.
I feel hopeless and suicidal a lot, but I don't think I'd ever act on it. I wouldn't want to make my friends and family have to put up with it (finding my body, dealing with it, etc.)...though I don't see it as such a horrible, cowardly, and selfish act. If you are tired of living your life, then why can't you make the choice to end it? It's your body, your life.
If you haven't thought about suicide at some point during your life your either under fifteen or have a very easy life (probably due to your parents money). Thinking about your own death every now and then is normal, thinking about it a lot probably means that you have problems that need addressing.
As for me, barring some freak accident I know I'm going to kill myself eventually. I've seen what aging looks like in my family and it's not pretty. After a certain point most of us end up miserable and unable to care for ourselves. I refuse to let my wife help me go to the bathroom let alone pay a stranger. I will refuse to live when I know it's only going to be downhill from here, when my body will prevent me from enjoying life. I'm sure a lot of people might think I'm wrong for thinking so but that's just how I want my life to go. Thankfully I imagine I have another thirty to forty years before that time comes.
Preferred methods would be the classic hanging, or taking an overdose of prescription medications and passing out into a full bathtub so I drown peacefully.

I've had the same thoughts before myself, and no one has understood that before. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Pretty much addressed what I was about to say.

This is the point where you become very good friends with your doctor and get all sorts of wonderful pills so that you can have loads of fun, without ever leaving your couch! :P
[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]No, never. If I had to choose it would be a quick gunshot to the head.Lto_thaGWhat if you miss? Ideally the gun would have more than one bullet :P

Count me in on that. I volunteer in a nursing home. No. Absolutely not. If you don't have the right over your own life, what do you have?[QUOTE="dark_orb"]

[QUOTE="siLVURcross"]Have you?rabunzelno just yet..but maybe later You're considering considering it?
I have never wanted to commit suicide, but I surely can't be the only one to have walked along the edge of a road, and seen and FELT the air rush past of a lorry, and just have thought how simple it would be to walk out there, and be hit, and forget everything. I stopped one time to think about it. It really is quite something. However, I won't recommend it as it may just make someone actually realise it is worth doing it, which for me it never has.
Similarly, whenever my vertigo kicks in, say on the top floor in shopping centres, I quite often purposefully looks over the edge, despite the feeling I get in the pit of my stomach, just to think, what it's be like. Again I find it fascinating.

I can honestly say that I haven't considered suicide as an option.

rabunzel instead of talking about suicide, why don't you let us in on what makes you contemplate suicide?
I know I'm being nosey but, I consider this as a very serious topic.
then create a topic about that ..I'll be waiting for itAye, that I have....although I have been told that if I do apparently I will be brought back to life just so I can be killed.....
I've been told I will suffer and burn for all eternity if I did it. >_> I've been told the same thing ..and I believed itAye, that I have....although I have been told that if I do apparently I will be brought back to life just so I can be killed.....
