Have you ever turned down a girl?

Have you ever been asked out by a girl and said no for some reason? Or has a girl tried to hook up with you, but you were all like, "No thanks babe i am just too awesome for you" ?

I have turned a few girls down and stopped alot of situations from happening. Why? BECAUSE IM PICKY, thats how i roll, and if a lady comes on too strong i find it really unapealing.
... I might be the only guy like that...

I broke up with my first GF and I also had to tell one of my friends that I didn't feel that way about her....

It sucked because in both cases I had to reject good friends of mine. Thankfully I didn't lose friendships because of it.

Yeah, a lot. And that's not me talking myself up, most of them were weird or just plain... ummm, yeah. You know. There's at least one I shouldn't have turned down though... :/

I flattered when it happens but I don't like telling them no thanks... having said that I don't think I'm bad at it, even if I'm not good at it. In my earlier years (like primary school) I was pretty mean about it and felt bad years later, so I try my best to be nice.

I don't find it flattering. In a way it is like they are just trying to sabotage your relationship. After all, if you had ever said yes and then started a relationship with one of them I bet it would turn ugly quick.....

It was just annoying because I had a feeling for years that she felt that way about me and I just avoided it as long as possible......

In fact, the only GF I had I only said yes because I didn't want to hurt her feelings....

It was only in 6th grade so I was far from ready for any sort of relationship. I didn't even want to hold hands.....

Yes especially the ugly ones, but i try to tell them nicely.

Bahahah, same here, but it was Gr 7. Her sister asked me out for her, and i said no thank you politely... But then she said if i didnt she would cry, so i was like... I guess so? It lasted almost a year, and it was AKWARD!

Yea, that's true. I suppose I'm reminiscing of certain girls in high school that were flattering simply because they were more genuine. I don't think they were by any means trying to damage the relationship between me and my g/f. The bar scene in college is much more like the sabotage to you speak of. Seems like some college chicks who've hit on me have had that menacing gleam in their eyes.

I'm picky too, but I mostly just go by gut-feeling. If I didn't find her fun enough to do something, I'd say it. "Yeah, well, thanks for the offer but I'd rather not".

Besides, if you take everything that you can get... says alot about how great the self-worth must be....
