You can, and it will show all your router and IP stuff. /release must do something with that, and with I'm guessing it does something you don't want. Err, yeah, there's your answer.^^^ My computer is slow.

You can, and it will show all your router and IP stuff. /release must do something with that, and with I'm guessing it does something you don't want. i believe it shuts your internet off... hit ipconfig/all to get some more information...if you were crazy enough to hit ipconfig/release...type in ipconfig/renew and it should be back to normal...
Yeah, there are things it's just faster to do from a command line, plus a lot of my software development work uses command line compilers and CLI commands for controlling Windows services and net work mappings.
