I want to live in relative isolation for sure, but I'd prefer flat-lands. Some place where I could shoot a gun in any direction and not hit anyone, but no too far out from civilization either.
Just gimme a modest home in the mountains of Colorado. No Aspen or Vail. Ouray. Nothing there except the San Juan mountains. It's near Durango and Telluride, so not far from skiing etc. A lot of people go there in the Summer for 4 wheel drive trips and climbing. However, it is no resort.

it was in the north east of england. we set up a dome near a river in some woodland (mostly birch and pine with some elm) and stayed for something like 3 months. we were staying about 2 miles from the nearest road so it felt pretty remote. about once a week we would get people to come and give us fruit juices, chronic, tobacco, bread and meat etc.
