For me, I've given up on:

The Sarah Connor Chronicles - It's a trainwreck with no real direction anymore and degenerated into the "Terminator of the Week" Show.

Heroes - Just abysmal now. They should have went with the original premise that was going to have a totally new story every season with only a couple of characters from the old season present to bridge the gap. Now they have characters like Nikki and Claire that they have no idea what to do with as their storylines ran their course 2 years ago.

Well I haven't watched much shows to start with. The only show I keep track of now is Battlestar Galactica, which should continue January 16th.

For reality shows, you might as well watch The Soup on E!. They have all the funny moments so you don't have to watch all that drama bullcrap. I don't get why people watch Heroes. It's so stupid. I haven't given up on any shows yet, but I've vouched for Fringe. It's pretty damn good, has continuity, and all the sci-fi/character drama you want.

I saw the first episode of the first season and gave up on it after that. It looked so lame.

In the last two years, mainly because of our new twins: Heroes (but it has gone downhill), CSI, CSI Miami, Law & Order SVU & Weeds.

I don't understand people's problem with Heroes this season. It's much better than the last one and at least on par with the 1st.

Terminator is better than ever, I don't see why you'd give up on it. Heroes is trying its best to completely screw itself up, unless it turns itself around there's no way I'm going to be able to continue watching it.

Heroes (Sylar...*facepalm*) and Fringe. I almost gave up on Prison Break at the start of the season but I'm glad I stuck with it, and I'm slowly losing interest in House.

Prison Break. Its like Dragonball Z. The first season was great and it should have ended there (Saiyan Saga). Then came the second season, which was not needed, but was still ok. I mean they escaped prison, and now they are showing us how they get to safety right? (Frieza Saga). Then came the 3rd season. This was just a cheap attempt at making milking the series. The story should have ended at season 2 but they made a half-assed ending to prepare for a milkage 3rd season (Cell Saga).

Heroes. Season 1 was pretty good. An X-men type show that actually didn't suck! Who could say no to that!? In the course of the series I saw some problems early. A time traveling hero and an immortal hero are overpowered, but what ever. Then came the abysmal season 2...oh boy. This season was a complete and utter mess. Apart from the story inconsistencies and ridiculous nature of the entire season, they used time travel again as their main way of starting the story and then they made the biggest mistake in super hero history....They brought a character back from the dead! Death is now a non issue in the world of heroes. What's that? Dead, don't worry just bring Claire and all's good! Not to mention that a character with the ability to travel through time makes any story unnecessary. Why don't they just go back in time indefinitely until they get the right future they want? stupid. Season 3 is a mess too...guess whats the plot starter? TIME TRAVEL!!! Can you say lack of creativity? Its really getting pathetic.

Pushing Daisies. In all fairness, the show had great directing, acting and story telling. It just that I saw 6 episodes and I couldn't see a continuing story...it all seemed very "freak of the week-ish" and I hate those type of shows. Supposedly an underlining story emerges as the series progresses but I'm not going to watch it now seeing as how its canceled and can't be bothered.

CSI NY and Las Vegas. Personally I hate CSI in general, its utter crap, but Miami gets a free pass because Horatio Kane is all forms of badassery :D

I gave up on Lost and House. I like both of them but I just don't really care to watch every episode. But I picked up Crusoe (which is better than Lost) so it's all good. :)

I gave up on MadTV. The new season has been terrible. I haven't bothered tuning in to the past few episodes, especially when I can watch the old reruns on Comedy Central.

I gave up on Heroes. It went from a pretty good Watchmen rip-off to just terrible. I stopped watching about 3 episodes in.

I watched the first episode of Fringe, and although I did like it, it wasn't good enough to keep me coming back. However, I hear that if you watch the first season it gets really good...so maybe I'll catch up.

Other than that, I'm still watching what I usually watch. 30 Rock (hysterical), The Office (almost gave up on it but caught up last night...still pretty funny), Pushing Daisies (I can't believe they canceled it  ), and I can't WAIT for Lost to come back.

I'm starting to lose faith in the Office, as it's hardly even trying to be a comedy any more. The few times it actually strives for comedy usually feel forced and lack the greatness of prior seasons.
