[QUOTE="mindstorm"]You are making me miss my days of smoking cigars and pipes! :x why'd you stop? Simply put, it would look better on my seminary application. They ask whether or not you smoke... and I quit so I wouldn't have to lie. It probably wouldn't hinder me from going, it was just an added excuse to quit. Also, as I do not want to harm another person's faith, I quit as I know of many who think it is wrong to smoke. I don't want anyone to turn from God because they think I'm being hypocritical, "The preacher boy is smoking! I suppose that means I can live how I want too!" Apparently my health isn't a reason to quit, but whatever. :P[QUOTE="awesomeray"]

Course I could find out for myself but then I would have to start smoking.mindstorm
I hae always wondered how hard it really is to quit smoking. Course I could find out for myself but then I would have to start smoking.Well, I never really became addicted. There would be times I'd smoke my pipe or a cigar several times within several days, but then I would not smoke again for a month. If you get into the habit of smoking every day, then is when I'd imagine it would get hard to simply quit. However, I can never recommend smoking to another person due to the addiction risks and health risks.Serraph105

I would totally smoke this cigar
I sure have! I made one because of a certain thread someone made at GameTrailers...It's a shame cause I deleted it by mistake.
Well, I never really became addicted. There would be times I'd smoke my pipe or a cigar several times within several days, but then I would not smoke again for a month. If you get into the habit of smoking every day, then is when I'd imagine it would get hard to simply quit. However, I can never recommend smoking to another person due to the addiction risks and health risks. I've always thought about smoking cigars. I will never (really I'm quite sure) start smoking regular cig's though Even though I've smoked many cigars and pipes of tobacco, I have never had a cigarette. There are several reasons for this. One being cigarettes tend to be used simply give give someone their "fix." They are cheap, easy to use, and thus, easy to get addicted to. Cigars on the other hand are more expensive and tobacco pipes take time to use. I'd imagine it would thus be harder to become addicted to them. You can walk outside to smoke a cigarette. Pipes you have to carry around a box full of stuff to be able to use it regularly. Also, another thing that stopped me from becoming addicted was the fact I lived on my college campus which did not allow smoking. I'd have to leave campus if I wanted to smoke.[QUOTE="mindstorm"]
