Yes...you DO need to get them removed, and do it ASAP!!!
If you do it while they aren't exposed, you will hardly feel a thing.
Here's my wisdom teeth story shortened for your convenience:
Top 2 wisdom teeth were not exposed, bottom right one was fully exposed, and the bottom left one was halfway exposed.
The surgery lasted 45 minutes, and after the surgery, I felt great, and extremely relaxed, but, the bottom left one, hurt a lot when I touched it the first week because of complications of the way the tooth was coming out, so it was tender after the operation, and also, when they are exposed and then removed, you've got bick holes in the back of your mouth, and during the first few weeks, there is a chance you could get something called "dry sockets", long story short YOU DON'T WANT THEM!!!
I never got any, and recovered quickly, but, if I did this WAY EARLIER, that would have been GREAT.
DO IT ASAP!!!
Well, the reason I wouldn't get them removed early on, my brother got his removed early, and he bled quite a bit *shivers.viewtiful26
Before, during or after? Besides, you won't even feel it, you'll probably go home, fall asleep, then your parents will wake you up, take the cotton balls out of your mouth, throw them away, and then you either fall asleep or get on with your business :|

I got mine removed last year. The only bad thing about it was that I had them removed on the first day of summer break. There was hardly any pain, and I onyl took a weekend to recover. My advice is that you get them out soon because it's easier for the surgeon and less painful if you have them out before they've grown in.Helmaroc_King
I thought it would be less painful after they've grown in, since the surgeon doesn't have to brutally open your gums or whatever.
