1080i is better then 720p. 1080p is the best right now.smokeydabear076But comparing interlaced to progressive, 720p is better for gaming than 1080i. You dont get as much flicker with a lot of on screen action. 1080i may be higher resolution, but progressive is still a better picture on an LCD or plasma because interlaced is not a native signal to those types of TV. So the interlaced signal has to be de-interlaced and you may notice some lag in cheaper TVs.
