Hey ive noticed in some songs, the output from the left and right channel sounds different.

The left plays a constant background sound, and the right plays the louder bass, or whatever instrument.

Anyone else notice this? This happens with multiple headphones, on Ipods and Mp3s

Like this?

Yeah. It's called stereo. It's been around for about half a century now.

I am in a similar boat as you. I can only hear with my left ear so all the sound comes through the left headset/earbud for me. However sometimes I can still tell when a certain pair headphones/ear buds produces a more rich, bass-filled and noise canceling sound that pleases me to no end as opposed to one that doesn't :)

You need to use a mono setting. Players with more advanced software should have one.

In that case, try to change your music to mono, if possible.
