Last show i started to really like. Already one of my favorites. Season 2 started today in my country. The main guy, The Mentalist, played by Simon Baker is an awsome character. Really charismatic, and the show is all about him. It would be just another crime investigation type of show if it didnt had this guy. Well it still kinda is, but he makes it all more funny. I never heard of this actor till i saw this show. He does the job perfectly, very credible.

So do you like it?

Its premise is an exact copy of psych, which I love, but don't need two shows of.

I hate shows that revolve around one douchebag of a character :lol: I refuse to give him the satisfaction of watching his otherwise completely dull show, although I'll admit he's pretty slick in it.

yes but light slightly more mature in it's comedy, both great shows however i like the mentalist better personally

hes not a douche. his personality is all part of his Mentalist mask. He acts that way with a purpose.

I dont know how he is in real life, i just know he does a great job in the show. But you know before i saw the show, i only had seen some ads of it on TV, thats what i tought when i looked at him. "What a douche. This show might even be good, but this douche ruins it". I was completely wrong.

I may check it out. my friend was in an episode in season 1 and from what I saw the show looked pretty good. Not as good as Dexter or Breaking bad though.

Never seen psych, but iv already noticed by what people say everywhere that its inspired on that show. They also say that is a more comical show, and that the humour in this is better, and that its a better show. So altough it may be inspired in that show, if this is better, if i like to watch it, whats the problem with it?

I really really enjoy it. I don't really care for Psych because he's an ass and lies to people, but Jane is upfront about his perceptions. He just notices things that others don't. And the show is much more mature. Red John is really an intiguing enemy. This season he really hits home again for Jane...
