Help concentrating in school...

Well school is 2 weeks aways and im going to be in the 10th grade. I am smart and i mosly get staright A's. I am FOR SHURE going to college for something to do with computer software Engineering or something around software.Well i have a hard time concentrating becuase 1.There is A LOT of clowns that like to hang around me and distract me. and 2. There is this 1 person who is really smart and gets A's on Everything in mostly Math and Science, I do to get A's mostly on my tests but he always get better than me and makes me not have confidence and everytime i do good he's like "OH i did better" lol.

Point is what can i do to ONlY focus on me and do my best and forget about how good that smart dude does academically.?this VERY smart dude in my class is VERY arrogant and rubs his success in other classmates. He is a PC gamer and know alot about PC and that might be the reason he i so smart.

just do you man, if you have a college you want to go to just make sure you are meeting the requirements to get in. forget about other people. this guy sounds like a nerd, join a sport so you will have that as a 1 up against him. join the football, wrestling, and swimming teams, you will be in the best shape out of your whole entire class. i started sports in 10th grade and i was buff by my senior year. high school is easy too, you can bs your way through it easy:cool:

Forget about him. Just because he may do well doesn't mean you can't too. It's not an either or option. You can both succeed. Also, quit showing him your grades, then he won't have anything to say to you. Actually guessing from his maturity he'll automatically think you did bad.

I have to wonder how smart you are when you can't even spell sure properly.

Stop hanging around the clowns, leave the cell phone at home and don't worry about anything else when in class except what the teacher is talking about.
