Help finding a quote

Hey, I'm trying to find a quote about a hero. It goes something like "A hero is someone who rises to the task, and then silently slips back into the crowd" or something like that. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And no, this is not for school.

That sounds a lot like the line from Brutal Legend that tells us what a good roadie is.

"A good roadie knows that it's his job to make someone else look good, keep someone else safe, help someone else do what they were put here to do.
