Help for my dissertation

Could you guys answer some questions for me regarding the Media's Portrayal of Video Games?

This is for my for my Journalism degree and I would love to get a range of opinions.

• Do you think mainstream media represents games negatively or positively?
• What do you like accessing about games in print and broadcast media?
• Is gaming related media content such as news, features and reviews more suited online?
• What would you want to see more of regarding video games in the media?
• How much credibility do you think these stories that video games induce real life violence have? Do you agree with them?
• Do you think the media judge video games harshly?
• Why do you think the media treat games the way they do?

I would be eternally grateful for any responses :) and I hope this board is suitable for this kind of discussion :S
