I, personally want to have multiple jobs when I reach adulthood. Full and Part time. But my part time (as mentioned in another thread of mine) will be music reviews. Hopefully I can get some pay outta that. Might also be a musician, play in pubs.

Full time is where my problem lies. I wanna be either a Teacher, Police Officer, Computer Technician or A FAMOUS ROCKSTAR!

(Last one was kinda a joke, I'd love to be but that's not likely)

I can't decide which is the best option. I like the idea of educating children, I also like the idea of law enforcement and last but not least: I'm very good with Computers. So I need the pros and cons of each career path. And if possible perhaps a recommendation for a better career path, if it happens that I'm not being wise with my ideas at the moment

Qualities:

  • I'm above average intelligence at my age (14, 15 this month)
  • I'm a fast runner
  • I'm good with computers
  • I'm learning to play Guitar
  • I can draw
  • I'm a fast learner
  • I know the difference between right and wrong
  • Considering my condition (Asbergers) I'm good socially

Tips and Tricks, weave your magic on me OT.

I am going to need to see proof of these 'qualifications' before I can make an appropriate suggestion for you. ...particularly the above average intelligence, running speed, playing guitar, and knowing the difference b/w right and left...errr wrong. Perhaps you could do something that demonstrates all these at once. I am sure you will think of something (considering your above average intelligence)

Get something skill based as a foundation, like getting into Computer Science or whatnot. Then, on the side, do music and review music. If anything comes of it, cool. If not, then you have something to fall back on.

Go for Computer Technician, I don't know much about Asbergers but if it causes social problems, teaching and police could be tough.

The running and guitar playing could be combined to make an illegal busker that had to run away when the police arrived?

Thing is though, if I use my hands for playing guitar and work out algebra with my toes it would be extremely difficult as I'm also running.

I'm an avid guitarist, but after my band disbanded I started playing games more and doing other stuff. I did part time guitar teaching and working in music shops. Now Istudy Electronic Engineering at universitywith the hope of designing computer systems or guitar/amplifier electronics. At the end of the day just do what you're interested in. You like playing guitar do some music grades, and teaching courses, get some experience in a studio and on stage.

Its all about getting yourself out there and trying stuff out. Try to make contacts and do the things you will work it out at some point.

[QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] I will see if I can find them for you. They could prove to be especially insightful (given your similar qualifications)rawsavon
Sweet, thanks man

No problem. It is crazy just how similar all 3 of you guys are. The good thing is that one is like 17 and the other is like 20. ...so you can see what it will be like to be 'you' at those ages

Sounds like a good idea to me.

They grow up so fast.

Yes, we do. But I'm still enjoying childhood. I just thought it a good idea to prepare for the future.

Early preperation's a good thing you know. At least if I have some kind of idea on what I'm doing now then I'll be well prepared when the future does come.

Technically, the future will never come, because it's the future. You should be saying 'when the present comes.' However, the present is already here, so that's also incorrect.

You are doomed. :(

[QUOTE="racer8dan"]Your not very nice are you?

racer8dan

If I say yes, then I am either a liar a braggart...which is not very nice
If I say no, then I am either a liar or not a nice person...which is not very nice

How would you like me to proceed?

So, wev'e come to the conclusion that you're not very nice, I guess.

nice: Synonyms: enjoyable, agreeable, pleasant, good, fine, lovely, amusing, wonderful

all are accurate discriptions of a flower
