[quote="V"] Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the "vox populi" now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.

Plenty of sophisticated words in there you can learn. :)

Gosh darn plagerizers, stealing smart people's work! Anywho, to the TC, I'd recommend a book by one of by favourite author's, a mysterious entity known only as Oxford. Apparently, this guy had a lot of time to write down a lot of words so people can understand their contexts :o If you want to take the easy way out though, just did up some "hard-to-read" books then rip vocabulary from them.

Not using the phrase 'more smarter' would be a good start.

The only three words you will ever need are "Wit?", "Aye" and "Naw". With these simple phrases you can convey any message, and win any debate. Go on, try it.

First of all, using "more" and "smarter" right next to each other is not proper English, start there. It would probably be better to learn what AREN'T words, like "funner." And by sophisticated, do you mean long words or intelligent words?

Well I have a good one for long, "antidisestablishmentarianism," described as "the movement or ideology of advocates of opposition to disestablishment." Break up: anti-dis-establish-ment-arian-ism.

For starters, it's smarter, not more smarter. And you misspelled vocabulary. In online debates, misspelling words is not a good idea. Especially on the PC forums. I say keep a thesaurus with you, or just use the one on your computer for internet debates.

If you want to use words to sound smart, you're already doing it wrong. :P The best word to use in any given situation is the right word, not an "intelligent" word.

But you might try a reverse dictionary if you ever have a concept that you're having difficulty putting into words.

Don't listen to those people telling you to use a dictionary thats crazy. All you need to do is say this one word:

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

Your vocabulary can not get much wider than that.

Just kidding. Seriously use a dictionary or thesaurus. Or read a book whose title tells you absolutely nothing about the story.

Heh, great find. This is probably going to be one of my most often visited sites now.
