Help with a girl..

So me and this girl have been friends for a while, and one day we were IM'ing and she said that she loved me and wanted to go on a date with me. She jokes around like that a lot (she knows I have a crush on her) and I was pretty sure she was joking. I played along though, and set a date for us and everything. She finally told me that she was joking, BUT that we could hang out sometime if I wanted. She has what you could call stereotypical asian parents, who wont allow her to date or anything, so she has to tell her parents she is hanging out with one of her friends. However, my problem is i'm not sure where to go/what to do with her. Any advice on how to deal with this?

Tell her you want to hang out and then don't show up. When she asks where you were, just say "i was joking" and then see how she feels. Afterwards, go out on a date with someone who is worth your time.

She seems like a tease at best and a childish tool at worst. Assuming you aren't both 13 anyway...
