Open the can, pour the spinach into a bowl, pick up cyanide (left by your suspicious neighbour...the one with the screams pealing out of his house at midnight), pour cyanide in with spinach, offer spinach to monster. See? Point and click adventure games do teach you stuff.
You throw your little sister in order to distract it and while it eats her you run as fast you can(coward version).You eat the spinach,you become popeye and beat the **** out of the monster(manly version)

1. Double storm kick my sister off the tricycle and leave her as bait 2. Get a refund on the bottle of spinach seeing as spinach shouldn't come in a bottle (as far as I'm aware)
Take your sister by the hand, lead her inside and close the door. Problem solved
