ghetto's in england consist of chavs hanging on street corners just acting like Yobs and trying to scare old people. They're not really the same as the ones in the US (in London anyways, dont know about the rest of the UK)
Of course London has a 'ghetto'. In fact, it has several 'ghettos', like any other major city. If you want specific names, Peckham, Brixton and Stockwell pop to mind. There are others of course.

I don't think it's nearly as bad as those places (probably because of lower gun availability, less black racial friction and fewer people overall), but it still gets pretty bad. In Peckham, for instance, shootings, armed robberies and stabbings are quite common. Just the other week they had an armed gang storm into a baptism ceremony, take everybody's valuables and shoot a woman in the head (for no reason).

S***. i've been to london.. and i've gone to all parts of the city and i didn't really notice it being 'ghetto' in any parts. Maybe I'm used to hardcore ghettos in new orleans so i didn't notice the sh** areas in london or something.. who knows.

S***.Where is your area? or other nice areas if you dont want to tell everyone on GS where you live. I live in the very outskirts of London. Quite a nice area I personally believe, reasonably quiet. I used to licve in Dagenham (North-East Lodnon) which is now a (expletive) hole. I hated it thanks to the rise of immagrants there and rise in crime and just overall a not very nice place.
Glasgow is pretty ghetto. Not any particular part, just Glasgow in general. A misplaced look on the street will get you stabbed there. Theres about 3 murders a day.
