I'm getting hungry so I thought I might go and murder a Christian family and then eat their babies. Anyone want to come?

I think his point was actually largely just that the logic behind statements like "Crusades, ergo Christians are evil" is flawed, and he was offering this as a similar flawed argument against atheists... now, how well he gets that point across can certainly be debated, as it doesn't appear to be very well at all. :PGabuEx
Shhh... don't tell them.
The only real way to get to people is with something with a blunt impact. Usually something much shorter. Most people will leave after the minute mark if not earlier on something that drawn out.
Personally, I just minimized the window and let the cool music play while I went on with my internet surfing. :P

Meh, he mostly used examples from communist/totalitarian regimes (Stalin, Mao, etc). They didn't perpetrate their crimes under the name of atheism (unlike the crusades which were an explicit conflict between two religions) but rather commited their crimes in order to establish their power and authority. And the reason why these regimes were atheist to begin with was to make it easier to control the populace (churches and other religious centers have an annoying tendancy to double as hotbeds for resistance movements) and establish the government as the ultimate authority.
As for the topic title, it depends on how old the babies are. I've found that after they learn how to move the meat starts to get tougher and less tasty.

Except atheism isn't an organization, whereas Christianity is.GettingTired
I'm making no comments regarding the validity or effectiveness of his argument; I'm only saying what his intended argument is (and that he's not actually claiming that all atheists are baby-eaters).

It was interesting how he dismissed christians who committed horrible acts as being "Not true christans"

Well, in his defense, I think it's rather evident that there are passages in the Bible where God and Jesus command people to do things, and I think a fair argument could be made that someone who blatantly and heinously goes against such commands does not at all truly believe in Jesus Christ and has not accepted Jesus as his or her savior, and thus is not a Christian.

I don't really think religions are defined by their texts. Rather, the actions of their followers.
[QUOTE="Theempire30"]I think he's too big to be considered a baby.
Yum!

Did that tire guy have a baby?
His argument is flawed beyond belief. Christians have murdered far more people if we were to use his logic.
So wait, because the church ordered the deaths of all those people in the inquisition and didn't do it personally they're innocent?

So wait, we're responsible for the actions of a group of people who lived hundreds of years ago?

Sorry, I'm an Atheist with twin babies, and vandalism or murder isn't my thing.btaylor2404
I'm an atheist and I have a child as well. Unborn though.

No you're not, and atheists are not responsible for Stalin. Those killings mentionted in the video were done for the cause COMMUNISTS, not atheism.
I do not like you saying eating babies like that. It's disgusting and offensive.Premier1101
Would you rather us eat aborted fetuses?
