High school was so 5 years ago... enjoy it while it last
I don't know about US courses, but I wouldn't take weight training unless you're either a) worried about your workload or b) can't find any other worthwhile courses. My only regret about high school was taking useless courses like drama and phys. ed. in my first years and setting myself up for a rediculously hard grade 12. PBSnipesdude. That year is ridiculous.
AP US History will kick his ass. AP Spanish will kickhis ass. AP Bio and AP Physics and Precalc won't be too bad.
AP English depends on his teacher. Regardless, the homework from all of those classes alone will make him a definite failure or weekend homeworker for sure.

I guess it depends on what year he's in. I managed to coast through my first 3 years so I suppose my view of HS is a little distorted.I guess it depends on what year he's in. So, they can be pretty serious.
That said, I coasted through all of high school and most of college.
I really should've gone for a more difficult degree. :P

Yeah I assume AP is roughly the equivalent of our "university" level courses.SuperMarioNerd it would help if you told us your grade and what marks you generally get. Because IMO that's a solid set of courses for grade 12, but a little too easy for 9-11.
AP physics was a joke at my high school (a private prep school no less).
good choice taking AP classes. not sure i'd take that many at once though. all that counts is the AP test, which if passed will give you valuable college credits, allowing you to take electives like Extraterrestrial Life when your friends have to take some BS lower division writing class.
i hope for your sake your not a senior, 2nd semester's going to suck so bad for you, trust me, im only taking 2 ap classes and i regret it. make sure you didn't bite off more than you can chew.
edit: Btw, ive have taken AP physics, taking AP Spanish and AP Calc, lol your totally screwed, sorry but you don't even realize how much homework/work(some teachers don't collect it), your going to have to do to pass.
Your going to regret that so bad, you'll be pulling your hair out and punching yourself.
One of my good friends is easlily the most intelligent people I know (98% on provinvial exams, average of 97% in all his classes) and he took AP European History, he is getting a 75%, he says it is a good course, but the workload is ridiculous, average of about 3 classes worth.
But if you feel like taking AP courses in Bulk, be my guest. It's gonna be very difficult.
A- Individual Sports
B- Enviormental Science
C- Life Skills Math
D- Desktop Publishing
E- English
F- Learning Center (basically a special ed study, lol)
G- Foods
most of the classes arent bad, except for desktop publishing which is really bad. and enviormental science isnt that great either. but not as bad as DTP.
oh yeah and this is for this semester, i have 25 days of school left before i graduate
classes hinder original thought and if you go to class and do what your teacher says you will become another automated american robotP08CHear HEar. So throw spit balls at your teachers and get sent home early, kids.

Of course, yet everyone knows high school schedules mean nothing. University schedules are where it gets interesting.

Here's my high school schedule. Prepare to be impressed by me.

AP/Honors Theoretical Hypotheses

AP/Honors Award Winning

OMGZ! That's amazing!!! XD
I don't think I would take an AP class even if they offered. Honors, maybe, but not AP.
They only real class I have tomorrow is History, and I can blow through that with almost no effort. Art and Photo is all else.
Why are you in smart science and history, but not smart math?Jandurin
I'm sorry if I didn't tell you that I'm going to be a junior next year. At the high school I attend, juniors don't take any AP Calc courses after Precalc/Trig. Also, AP US Hist is a mandatory course for a junior.

I'm sorry if it looks like I'm showing off or anything. What I really was hoping for was any comments based on the experience of the courses,
and most importantly, the AP exams.

I'm a sophomore this year, and I usually get straight As. Well, maybe low As based on my courses...
id suggest you switch the physics with a chem. class, unless you need a physics course for what you wanna do in the future.Blitz_Nemesis
This year, I am taking AP Chem. Right now, I'm preparing for the AP exam, because if I don't get a 5, I will be VERY pissed.
