Looking through blogs I've noticed a new rate this comment addition. Anyone else notice this....and exactly why do comments need rated? I'm not quite sure what to make of this....
Thoughts?

I think it's going to end up being fruitless and discarded in a couple of months. I see no point in it unless you implement it in the was FreakyZeeky has today.nickmag
What did he do?

Clever, clever.
Apparently, the comments receiving a thumbs down which are therefore "rejected" will be hidden away.SaugaGames
That doesn't seem fair...

basic creating a topic on GS, how rare is this?
but anyways i think its pointless, but glad to see that GS is improving things on the site
They could be spending time improving GS in better ways than this...Fortier
Most of the changes are unnecessary....like when they changed the profiles so you have three tabs to click instead of seeing it all on one page....why?
Rating comments...why?
Next they'll have us rate posts....:(
Now if only they did the same for Youtube *Sigh*aaaaarrrrggggg

Really!?:o So i don't need to keep POISONING people for leaving rude comments?
Now if only they did the same for Youtube *Sigh*aaaaarrrrgggggI agree now that you've read this you are cursed for life unless you post this comment in 3 different videos those things make me so mad :(
This has to be the first topic that you made in.....Foever..
I think it's to block comments with negative ratings.
It seems strange, but then again most changes on Gamespot are strange at first. I remember when Gamespot reorginized the Boards with new Icons(Flame, Pencil, etc.) At first most people didn't like it but now its the norm. Same thing with the bigger AvatarsBlu_Falcon37The redesign and fugly icons are still strange.
