I have one disturbing/eye opening book called The Scourge of the Swastika (Dunno if they still sell it, its from 1950's I think). I've read Munich, really good book
i love it,but the problem is that i'm 25 YO,i have never tried it and i'm afraid i'm going to make a fool of myself and fail big time. First you should study how other skaters skate, and when you think you know how it's done just practice it until you get the hang of it. You should also watch some tutorials. My brother did just this 2 years ago, and now he is really good. He just got rid of that fear of failure and kinda jumped right into it. Self teaching is a bit more time consuming and a little harder, but I think it will reward you more in the end. (I advice you to do the first, and maybe go on to self teaching when you've learned the basics)
