There are many people in the world, who are willingly ignorant, and despite evidence they will ignore it, and deny it, usually to justify some belief, such as nazism, that would be difficult to follow in taking the holocaust into account.

Because the Titanic was sunk by Al Quieda agents from Jupiter, who originally came to Earth to save Richard Nixon from being framed at the Watergate. But when America was discovered, Hollywood had to take over Britain or otherwise the universe would collapse in on itself and turn white instead of black, making Captain Underpants king of the world.

There's some sort of spiritual void where peeps hate Jews. This is jealousy that they are called "God's chosen" , but they were chosen to demonstrtae God's personality and purpose, not cuz they are more special to God than others. This is lost on hateful people, however, who would rather pretend that 6 million Jews weren't really killed just 60 years ago in History, and that they are just being "spoiled" by historians., cuz they are "chosen'.

Because people like to deny terrible acts carried out by humans against humanity.

It makes them like to think that we aren't a terrible race, that actually kills for no sort of reason.

Perhaps the MLK debacle was caused by a golfing injury inflicted by Ford, and the government covered it up. Whatever the case, the govt will find a way to tax us for it.

Well, here is an interesting article on "bad beliefs." I know must people here aren't going to read all of that though, so here is an excerpt:

Even beliefs that do not seem clearly or directly connected to survival (such as our caveman's ability to believe in potential dangers) are still closely connected to survival. This is because beliefs do not occur individually or in a vacuum. They are related to one another in a tightly interlocking system that creates the brain's fundamental view of the nature of the world. It is this system that the brain relies on in order to experience consistency, control, cohesion, and safety in the world. It must maintain this system intact in order to feel that survival is being successfully accomplished.

This means that even seemingly small, inconsequential beliefs can be as integral to the brain's experience of survival as are beliefs that are "obviously" connected to survival. Thus, trying to change any belief, no matter how small or silly it may seem, can produce ripple effects through the entire system and ultimately threaten the brain's experience of survival. This is why people are so often driven to defend even seemingly small or tangential beliefs. A creationist cannot tolerate believing in the accuracy of data indicating the reality of evolution not because of the accuracy or inaccuracy of the data itself, but because changing even one belief related to matters of the Bible and the nature of creation will crack an entire system of belief, a fundamental worldview and, ultimately, their brain's experience of survival.

Well it's just too well documented to be false, and it happened recently enough that it can be confirmed as concrete historical fact. That's the logical side of it.

There are those who have been part of the war and have haunting images of what had happened. They don't want to believe that the Holocaust happened because it'll bring the pain and images back. So they tell themselves that it never happened and soon, they start believing that it never happened and they don't remember any of it, which the memories don't bring any of the pain or images back.

There are other reasons to as why they don't believe that the Holocaust happened, but that's what I think for those were apart of it and saw first hand on what happened, such as a German soldier who was there and did everything Hitler told him to do.

I've heard one reason is because they don't want younger people to know about it.

"Mommy, what was the Holocaust? What happened?"
"Nothing, nothing ever happened, baby."

I've heard of parents not wanting to tell their kids. That's, in all honesty, more horrific than telling them, because it may become so widespread people everywhere may be inclined to believe it never happened. Nothing would be worse than us forgetting all about the lives of over 6 million Jews and other minorities because it's scarey.

Why do you care? Just leave them alone and let them think what they want. They will die out eventually.

Some people find it hard to believe that humans are capable of something so atrocious.
