He jumped from .... 100,000 ( don't quote me on that) miles above the Earth. I've seen it before. He could have burned up or have been lost in space.

I'm sure he had some suit to deliver oxygen and combat the pressure, but he didn't burn up because he wasn't going nearly fast enough.  Things like asteroids and re-entry capsules start to burn up because they enter the atmosphere at insanely high speeds, unlike that dude.

How did he survive up there? And how did he predict where he was going to land? He would have landed like in another state.

That's still around 20 miles that he fell, which is crazy. I can't imagine how intense it would be to be in free fall for that long.

Considering he was going over the speed of sound, and the air was so thin that there was very little friction, the fall itself wasnt that long.
