It depends. I have a problem with people that are homeless for any reason other than a disability. If they have a major disability, I think we need to help them. And no, alchoholism and drug addiction are not disabilities, and being an addict is no one's fault but their own. If they are able-bodied and have a fully-functioning mind, then I look down on them and always will. It's not society's fault you're homeless, it's not the government's fault your homeless, and it isn't my damn problem that you're homeless.

QFT. In my area there are so many jobs. The starting pay at fast food is on average $3 more than minimum wage. Everyone is hiring. Yet their are perfectly sane and work able people wandering the streets.
Nope.. i give them money from time to time.. they get hasselled a lot by young kids so i tend to feel a bit sorry for them. They have it hard as it is without other people giving them trouble.
most of them are nice enough people who just have had a bad life, those homeless people i like just fine, its the ones that are drug addicts, ask for money saying that theyre gonna get clean and the promptly go to there dealer with the money you gave them that i have a problem with
Yes I do, I've not seen one homeless person who hasn't asked for money, or disgusted me in some way. I don't care what your situation is there is ALWAYS somewhere for you to go and stay, clean up and help you get back on your feet. When I say this people always bring up that one in Washington that died, and when they went to his 'hideout' they found out he had a million dollars. Well good for him, but that's one out of who knows how many people
Depends on how annoying they are. Some of them are nice people that are on hard times, but most are drug addicts and just want money for selfish reasons.

Anyways, I think you guys are being a bit rude. Remember that one thunderstorm you were terrified of when you were young? And even though you were inside, it still scared you? Well, imagine what it would be like to be outside, living in a box during that. Now I'm not saying this is the right thing to do, but homeless people have every reason possible to attack people. Seriously, if you were about to die of starvation, would you just sit there watching people wave their food around you?

I would NEVER be sleeping in a box, and people don't walk around 'waving' food at them, they just walk around with their food like they normally would. Are you saying people should avoid eating when a hobo is around?

Theres this stupid homeless lady in the town I live in. I cant stand her. She's always asking for favors, AND she has family in town also but she REFUSES to go with them, instead she lives out in the freezing streets. She's stupid!
