I probably would say death. I'm not going to enjoy life in prison, since my hands can get slippery at times, and I certianly would not enjoy being homeless.
Death, easy. Are people that scared of death they'd rather live a miserable life? Whats the point of living if its going to be like that anyway.
What defines misery to you? I don't think either of those lifestyles would be "misery".Death, easy. Are people that scared of death they'd rather live a miserable life? Whats the point of living if its going to be like that anyway.

Why must a homeless life be miserable? Well what would you be living for? The same things you'd be living for right now. Who lives for a house?[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"][QUOTE="Ilovegames1992"]

Basic things in life. Bed, food, showers. No point in living without that stuff. Life's pretty **** even when you have that stuff, so life without it? Pretty pointless.

Why couldn't you do that if you were homeless? House owners don't have a monopoly on fun and altruism.[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"][QUOTE="sherman-tank1"]Well what would you be living for?

Homeless I suppose... I have family members who were at one time homeless, they were able to work there way out of it.

Of course they would.
Prison. I get a roof over my head, food every day, and I get to learn how to make makeshift knives and hide them in my rectum. fidosimand get sodomised every now and then?
Homeless of course. You don't have any freedom in prison, and I can't know what happens after death (maybe heaven, maybe hell, maybe blank nothingness or reincarnation).
When you're homeless, you've got freedom. Its terrible, but you aren't tied down by societal constraints, so you are free to travel and experience life and new people. I guess I'm making it sound exciting, but if I were homeless, I'd pretty much use the opportunity to travel and learn new things.
Hopefully I don't ever need to be homeless to travel across America though.

I think you need to broaden your definition of misery. Why couldn't you do that if you were homeless? House owners don't have a monopoly on fun and altruism. -Sun_Tzu-How the hell can I help others if I can't even help myself? Also, I'm pretty sure when you are homeless living an exciting life is pretty much a dream. From what I all you can do when you are homeless is wonder or just, well that is all. House owners may not always have a monopoly on fun, but house owners also have the opportunity to have fun, whereby homeless people just focus on getting food, warmth, and enough money to maybe get a place in an apartment.

I think you need to broaden your definition of misery. Can't believe i'd have to explain this but ok.
Prison - no freedom, violent atmosphere, possibility of rape constantly etc
Homeless - pretty much no basic life standard
I honestly dont know how any of them are not miserable. I dont think anyone in this part of the world would bear being homeless.

This is true. The local homeless guy who hangs around the park near my house seems to have a grand time talking to the pigeons.

I would think that misery would be reserved for those with extreme hardship. Not the guy sitting around with a bottle of booze and an old sandwich. I'd say that guy has it better than 50% of the inhabitants of this planet.[QUOTE="Ilovegames1992"][QUOTE="BrianB0422"] I think you need to broaden your definition of misery.BrianB0422

No, being homeless or being in prisoner would be worse than death for me by a long way.

Prison, I would rally the prisoners to over throw the guards and go on a rampage which then due to unplanned events take over the world.

Yeah, why not with Bubba in charge of the cells.
Why wouldn't you be able to help others? -Sun_Tzu-Well, first of all, I wouldn't be able to help people in many ways, It would be the other way around. People would be helping me (soup kitchens, shelters, that kind of stuff). Secondly who would want help from some random hobo? People usually get creeped if a hobo tried helping them.
Reminds me of Call of Duty: Black Ops.Prison, I would rally the prisoners to over throw the guards and go on a rampage which then due to unplanned events take over the world.

I am pro Quack player.
Homless, I'd go with my leet camoflauge and gas mask for no reason so I don't have to smell crap and baiscally look like the guys form KF since I have that same suit I got on ebay for haloween for like 20$.(It's real ;o) I'd be the best homeless guy evar explorin teh woods like skyrim without the nastyness of the bugs with my leet gear.
Only problem I can feel would be showers ;'(

People have always been able to not only survive but thrive living nomadic life styles. if you live in a country that has a decent prison system (ie, NOT America) then i don't see why you wouldn't pick prison. not all prisons are the hellholes they are made out to be in movies.
in fact i heard in Sweden a guard left a cell open and the prisoners didn't even want to leave, they stayed in their cells and said it was the cosiest night ever.
not all prisons are bad.
