horror movie fans: what makes you cringe the most?

for me, its any gory fingernail/toe nail related scene in a movie. Like in land of the dead when you see the zombies fingernails getting ripped up as it scratches against a wall or something.

so tell me OT, what in a horror movie makes you cringe the most?

28 Days/Weeks Later and Quarantine zombie screeches. And how fast or animistic they move.

In Hellraiser, when Pinhead releases the chains on your skin and rips it out.

Teeth. Anything teeth.

Or also brutal torture. Doesn't have to so much be crappy and unrealistic (Hostel), but I made it 19 minutes into Ichi the Killer and had to stop when Kakihara was putting the meat skewer into the guy's cheeks and jaw. That was hardcore, man.

Well developed and clever villiains who are evil by nature.

Pretty much anything having to do with breaking and pulling teeth out...other than that not much really other than simple things like needles from shots still kind of bothers me.

no horror movie has made me cringe more than this rugby injury i witnessed on wednesday night...

if the picture is too blurry for you, one player's knee is being bent backwards by the sliding force of another player...i don't know why but when i saw this i cringed hard and everytime i think about it i sense what this player would've felt in my knee

Gore, ripping off body parts, slowler it is, the more gross. :shock:

Nothing really. I love gore.

Like SAW 3D. When Bobby had to pull out his own teeth. I just couldn't watch that... :?

And in the original SAW, when Dr. Gordon had to cut off his leg.

Those were probably the worst scenes in the whole series for me.

Im gonna have to go with anything related to eyeballs and shins! Not sure why I have such an issue with shin bones, but when they break or something I feel like vommiting

Friday the 13th Part 4 - corkscrew and butcher cleaver to Crispen Glover- still makes me cringe. Also Jason dying by landing on his own machete head first. God damn LOL

Tuning in to a "horror" movie, only to find that it's not a horror movie ("Hostel," "Cabin Fever," "Saw," etc.). I'd like the director to at least try to scare me, not go straight for the gag reflex. :|
