Hot Fuzz ...

was amazing. 

Shaun of the Dead was to zombie movies as Hot Fuzz is to action duo flicks.  So if you liked Shaun of the Dead you'll love this one.

Anyone else seen it?  What'd you guys think? 

Haven't seen it yet, but I loved Shaun of the Dead, it was brilliant. So I can't wait to see Hot Fuzz. :)Shut_Me_Up

You'll love it then.  Don't read any reviews of it, all I've read would have spoiled some parts.  All I'll tell you is you'll want to see it again after the first time, it was that good.

Saw it months ago, and I think it pales in comparison to Shaun of the Dead. Some bits were funny but the majority of it wasnt...Taegukki

That's probably because you don't like "Buddy cop action movies," enough compared to Zombie movies.  This was a total spoof of those films.

My mom said it's not that good, but to make sure... I'll rent it on DVD, or never. I didn't get much of the brilliance from SOTD when watching it on Comedy Central, I thought it was mediocre anyway.CRS98

I thought it was great, and I really enjoyed it, BUT, I thought shaun of the dead was more obviously a spoof, and in my opinion I still prefer it.adfaadfa2003

Since you've already seen it, this reviewer sums my thoughts up perfectly.  The last paragraph was my favorite, about the writers.

Not surprising when many of those cop/action films they were spoofing are American.  Although I heard there was some of that humor you were talking about ... can you give me a hint?  I might have missed some :(

It's not getting many bad reviews at all actually.  Check www.rottentomatoes.com 

Its only out in slect theaters here, I'll have to wait until it grosses enough.Sajo7

Yeah it just got released here in theaters, and it's a limited release as well.  Only in like 3 theaters within an hour drive of me.

They cut out some of the best parts on regular tv. You need to rent it. Full version with no cut outs= the best.
