Since ... Movies makers has reached the limit of ideas, stories and they have been so darn boring, why dont they start making movies Based on Video games? That would be intresting (Doom had a great try though).

Actually still there many novels not explored and can be used not is US but in Europe and East. There are many French, Italian and German movies that have great story but not done in a Hollywood stile and budget, the directors somehow like to make the movie dark and without music.

Movies about video games, that is very good but many people are sensitive about that because many have failed. A good idea is make a movie about a game that is not there any more. TV series can be a solution for games that are long. It will be very interesting to watch a TV series about one of Final Fantasy games for example!

All videogame movies suck, the only exception that I can think of is Mortal Kombat (the first one). I think I remember hearing there would be a Silent Hill II, it should be good if they correct the mistakes they made in the first one.

Well considering the game is based off a book series (of which 4 movies have already been made) its a possibility.

There are enough movies still coming out to keep me entertained. Like I still need to see 300, and then in May there is Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Carribean 3. But I guess there really isn't anything after that that looks any good.

I would like to think that a movie based on Kratos would own...if made by a respectful producer. And easing up on the CGI...that would be pretty cool.

Oh...and the movie "300" was one of the best...movies ever

The Halo film has been delayed indefinitely. There was a dispute between the the two studios (Universal and Fox) and Microsoft on whod would foot the bill for this project. Plus, I think Guillermo Del Torro (the producer) wanted to have a first time director helm the film, something the studios diddn't want to do, considering the massive budget of the movie.
