How Are DLP TV's for gaming and movie watching?

i have been looking at a 57 inch 1080p toshiba dlp. just wondering if any of you recomend dlp's or should i stay away from them?

i'ld just stay away from them due to the thickness,

i'ld say plasma, for movies good colours and deep blacks, but not games so much possible burn in if menus are left up too long and high response time

LCD for games, better response time

Overall i'ld say plasma as i don't find response times a problem

They are decent as long as you get a decent brand. DO NOT get some off branded walmart dlp. The lamps will go bad and it will come out of alignment within 6 months.

If you ever have a problem with a DLP its usually cheaper to just buy a new tv.

Also....wrong forum.
