How are your eyes treated?

I'm sure that im not the only one here on gamespot that has not so great eyes. I wear contacts during the day, and glasses at night. The only bad thing is is that contacts are such a pain in the arse. You can get one contact in perfectly then you try the other one and thats when sh** hits the fan. Either it slides around alot or it stings like a mother. You try again and again to put it back in only to have your eye buring red and sore. Cons of contacts... Then you also have your days when they go in perfectly.

Eye glasses for me. I actually like how I look with glasses on (or maybe I've just grown accustomed to self-image).

I'm about 20/30 on the eye chart without glasses, so i can go without them. Only time i notice it, is with night driving.

they're crap. the first time i ran tests i had 15% of my vision and that was 7 years ago

Last time it was 20/19 but that mistake would have been easily avoided if I would have taken my time >.>

Wow, I was under the impression that 20/20 was better than 20/19 but I guess not. I have higher than perfect vision I suppose.

Lol my eyesight is as bad as my dads is, im nearsighted, im 16 and my dad is 52, i think it was because i sat too close to the tv, my contacts dont bother me much and its gotten alot easier to put them in. Your contacts might sting your eyes because there might be a hair on it or something, clean them off with the solution or wash your case out because that might be the problem, if its not a hair just close your eyes and blink alot that helps when they sting my eyes.

I'm shortsighted, and I have glasses, but I'm not really that bad so I don't wear them all the time. I mostly wear them when I need to see things that are far away with any kind of detail, like when I'm driving for example. Otherwise, I can function perfectly fine without them.

I switched to contacts for a while, but I never got the hang of putting them in. After 2 years of wearing them, it would still take me 10 minutes to put them in every day. I gave up in the end, far too much hassle...

I used to wear glasses. Lasers went pew pew pew into my eyeballs. Now I don't wear glasses. The end.

I havn't had my eyes tested since I was much younger, so I don't really know. I don't need glasses though so that's good enough for me.

I'm from the UK. We say 'short-' and 'long-' sighted here, not 'near-' and 'far-'.

It's not that bad. I just started wearing contacts and althrough it's hard at first, it gets really easy. To each their own, I suppose. l4dak47

Edit: I might still try contacts since they might be good on occasion, such as on nights out, and I usually end up headbanging my glasses off at gigs.

I used to have 20/20. I don't think 20/20 is perfect, but it's still really good.

I wear glasses during the day, but then I wear my sunglasses at night. 8)
