How bad is that new movie out now called Season of the Witch?

With Nicholas Cage.. The reviews say its awful.. I may have to rent it just because of that.. How bad is season of the witch?

I haven't seen the movie, and i wont see it. I hate Nicholas Cage and his acting, he enrages me.:evil:

It's not a terrible movie, just a horrendously boring one. Essentially, Ron Perlman and Nicolas Cage escort some witch to a huge cathedral to kill her or something. Most of the movie is just them walking to the cathedral, with very little character development, or at least any that would actually make you feel anything towards any of the characters, and like 1 or 2 miniscule action scenes. What saves the movie is the final battle scene, respectfully lengthy and entertaining, but everything that leads up to it just doesn't make it worth while.

Skip it, there was actually a guy behind me snoring, and I was near following suit.

I wouldn't expect much from Nicolas Cage since isn't exactly the best actor. His acting can be good for a laugh though. Has anyone here ever seen Vampire's Kiss? This is the movie where he shouts the alphabet. Another favorite scene of mine is the dream within a dream from The Wicker Man remake.
