It's free - and an upgrade. Same interface (SATA-300), same speed (7200RPM), same buffer size (16MB), but 400GB instead of 250GB. It's worth waiting the extra week for shipping.

EDIT: About the monitor, yeah, I'm getting a new one. 20", 6ms response time, 700:1 contrast ratio, 1680x1050 res. Not the greatest, but my budget was running thin.

$1120 Canadian. Biggest return yet!

But yeah, goin' on my credit card as soon as I get it.
