how can people be in love with blue aliens?

Like those female aliens from star wars or asaris from ME?

how can they be in love with them? they are fricking not human...yes, they are humanoid and they may have the body complexion that most straight guys would find great, but still, they are fricking blue! dont get me wrong, im not saying that you cant love a girl if she doesnt have your skin color...im saying you cant love a girl if that girl is not even from your specie and it doesnt even have one of your specie's skin color...plus they all have tentacles in their heads, so they are like blue bald girls with tentacles over their head...it disgusts me to even think about it...why the hell do we get so many people saying that they would love to marry an asari???!! you might as well marry a robot or jaba the hutt (or whatever)

It's the Disney forumla... they're designed to be attractive, whether consciously or unconsciously.
