When i woke up this morning the temperature was -3 degrees Fahrenheit with a windchill of -15. Right now it's 5.
18F I'm just happy it isn't snowing or ice on the streets like it was a couple of weeks ago. Driving on ice? sucks really bad.
To peeps who are below 0F: how do you all put up with that? Past a certain point, you can't drive anywhere and you can't even go outside. Even your home heating system is not as effective below a certain temperature.
How do you all do it?

Lol, you just do what you have to. You can drive anywhere you want, it just takes preventative measures to keep the car/truck in operating condition (i.e. a block heater). And the number one rule for driving in the winter? SLOW THE **** DOWN.
People don't seem to understand the very basic, yet life-saving (and money-saving) benefits it offers. Also, clearing windows of ice and frost is also a huge plus, as seeing while driving is a nice thing to be able to do.
Here in Winnipeg, we see an 80 degree (Celsius) difference between summer extreme and winter extreme. It's brutal and does a number on cars, the roads and the people. But we deal with it because it's where we live.

My guide to winter survival:
1. grow large beard
2. if the weather goes below -10F, have something to cover and warm your mouth. It'll hurt to breathe otherwise
3. Buy hand warmers
4. BUY HAND WARMERS
5. Keep survival stuff in your trunk if stuff goes south
6. Did I mention that you should buy hand warmers? You should really buy hand warmers.

I was gonna say what the temp was where I'm at, but it may be just for the best to keep my mouth shut. I hope all of you stay warm and safe.

Hand warmers ain't gloves, sport.
They're packets of fire that you grip in your fist before you open palm smack old lady winter in the taco.

We already know you're roasting marshmallows over lava at the beach. Shattup.

At least you understand my pain.
But seriously, it's actually colder than usual here for this time of the year. And as far as back on the mainland, I'm calling my family every day just to make sure they're okay. Those negative temperature days are no joke; I've had more than my fair share of them.
27 with a feel of 12. By sunrise later today it's going to feel like 9. This is way too cold for a native Floridian.
we got up to 30F over the weekend, but we're down to 10F now. we just got some rain yesterday so there should be some good ice skating on the ponds.
4F, -16F w/ wind according to weather channel
it's only supposed to be like this for a day or two here, so nothing to freak out about
