I think it's freaking hysterical how a lot of people are truly mellow when it comes to violence in the media, but when it comes to nudity, parents start freaking out.Ā Apparently, seeing a part of the human anatomy (even in a non-sexual way)Ā is punishable by being throwm into the tenth level of hell, while seeing someone being eviserated is considered wholesome entertainment.
heh... a few years back i had 'that' incident where my parents found certain websites in the history on the computer heh. Needless to say i was extremely embarrased but my dad was cool, said we should have a 'chat' lol... but... my mum started crying.. which was odd lol, not like it was gay pr0n or anything heheGenTomlmao, care to expand on the scenario, I couldnt imagine that... how did you forget to clear your cookies?

True, hypocrisy FTW
I don't believe most moms like their children seeing violence either.....I think it's freaking hysterical how a lot of people are truly mellow when it comes to violence in the media, but when it comes to nudity, parents start freaking out.Ā Apparently, seeing a part of the human anatomy (even in a non-sexual way)Ā is punishable by being throwm into the tenth level of hell, while seeing someone being eviserated is considered wholesome entertainment.

true to that
Good lord that is so true. When I worked in a video store we had the horror section right next to what used to be an adult film selection. We no longer had any real adult films there but just videos with girls playing volleyball in bikinis and various states of undress. The video cases themselves never had anything more revealing than a girl in an average bikini yet I had to regularly field complaints from concerned parents which usually were mothers.I think it's freaking hysterical how a lot of people are truly mellow when it comes to violence in the media, but when it comes to nudity, parents start freaking out. Natural reaction. Usually moms don't want their kid to see those things.Media_geek20I don't see why they have to shield their kids from this. I imagined their kid seen a breast when their childs were newborns being nursed, but as they get older they need to be protected from the "evils" of nudity. I'd rather have my kid see a movie with a love scene than gratitous violence that could probaly scar him much worse than a pair of butt cheeks.
~-~Cuz every boob showed on TV is 75% filling and they don't want their kids to get the wrong idea of a girl's anatomy and be disappointed when they get into the real world. Of course, all that goes to hell when she let's the kid on the bus with lil Johnny who brought his dad's playboy collection for show but no telling.~-~The_PirateKingThat's the parent's responsibility to teach their kids about the human body.

And with porn I'll give you 10$ if you can find a real human body that looks like that.~-~
Nudity is a sanctity to be shared between a couple, not to the general public. Hey, I love boobs as much as the next man, but that doesn't mean I want the rampant display of nudity across our society. Have some shame.rimnet00Some kids are gonna have questions about the human body, and we shouldn't have to hide it from them or make up cutesey answers. As long as you explain it to them in a non-sexual way. And I'm not promoting exposing children to explicit sexual content.
