How comfortable are you around your partner?

I got yelled at earlier for not closing the door when i went to use the master bathroom. It is within plain view of the bed on which my girlfriend was watching tv.

After the whole slamming of the door bit, i sat there ( i had forgotten to take a magazine with me so i had nothing else to do ) pondering how the average couple feels around each other when it comes to sensitive things and other stuff some might consider embarassing.

Things like using the restroom or taking a shower or just being naked in a non-intimate situation like getting dressed or what have you.

I am genuinely curious how others act around their partner/husband/wife/whatever.

I'm pretty comfortable with my hand. HUR HUR.

Been with my girl for a year and a half, so were pretty comfortable. Never was embarrassed being naked in front of her and neither was she. I don't see how you can be embarrassed around your partner once they have seen you naked... But yea, we just act normal. Maybe your partner felt disgusted more than uncomfortable, taking a crap in plain view of someone is downright rude IMO. By the way i'm single, but i certainly wouldn't let my wife see me on the toilet just out of courtesy and respect, being naked around them is no big deal in my eyes though, it's only the toilet thing because of respect.

My wife and I have been married for over 10 years, together for over 11. Nothing is off-limits or offensive anymore. I'll still stare her down when she gets undressed though because I'm a guy and she's hot. :P

I am completely comfortable with my partner, we are in the bathroom at the same time hahahah.

It depends on who our opponents are. I'm the big guy and can take a lot of punishment, while he's smaller, nimbler, but has a more explosive offense. When we click, you can really tell that we have a chance at the titles.

We are pretty comfortable around each other. We live with other people so we have to shut the door when we are in the bathroom, but I can't see us leaving the door open if it was just the two of us. And I enjoy undressing in front of him so he can check me out :)

I'm comfortable around her, but I still find myself making sure I don't talk about inappropriate things (I enjoy toilet humor...) and not farting around her. We don't live together so we don't really have to deal with what the OP said. My girlfriend does have a habit of running the sink whenever she uses the restroom, though...

At this point there's pretty much nothing my wife and I haven't experienced in regards to each other so, yeah, I'm as comfortable around her as I am by myself.
