file.php?40,file=29083,filename=07bombar it's one of those 3-wheel bikes. you've probably seen ads for them somewhere. what are your thoughts on the coolness level of these bikes? would you ride one in public if you got it as a present? to me they look lame and if i was on one on an open road and saw a real bike, i would be embarrassed. looks like a toy.

These and regular trikes are for middle aged yuppies who want more stability than a regular bike because they still want the feel of a motorcycle but are too scared to ride a real one. Lame, trikes used to be cool.

normally bikers wave to each other on the road when passing....if a biker saw that, he/she would spit at you

If I'm going to be on a 3-wheeler give me something more like this.

However, I do prefer a typical cruiser like those from Harley Davidson.

If it gets me where I need to go, requires little maintenance, and saves me money on gas and repairs, then hell yeah I would ride one.

I usually ride a Boulevard C50. It's like the Camry of motorcycles, and it's still far cooler than that. I would ride it, but I don't think I would be happy about it.

Im surprised ive seen so many ads for them yet ive never seen a single one on the road. I could see them being good for older people that never got to ride a motorcycle when they were younger but thats the only demographic i can think of.

The only people I've heard of buying them have back problems that makes riding a regular motorcycle painful. Other than that I odn't see the appeal - you've got none of the performance of a regular motorcycle but you probably have to pay more for it.

If it is cheaper than a regular motorcycle, easier to maintain, has good Km/litre then to be honets, yeah, yeah I would. I honestly don't care what people think of me anymore.

They aren't cheaper than a regular motorcycle, and they're much heavier so I doubt they get better mileage...

Those Trikes I think are to expensive to be honest, they are like 20K and up I believe. BRP is heavily advertising them around here but I have yet to see anyone actually riding one of these. I guess it would be an option if I had back problems or something but at that price point I don't think so. If anything just get the Campagna T-Rex but you are looking at 55K and up on those haha.

it is ok. not great.

better than harleys though.

i have ridden for a very long time and once borrowed my brothers $15,000 ultraglide and thought it was the biggest piece of crap i have ever ridden.

i went around a sharp corner on it at 25 mph and the damn thing felt like it was going to shake apart. later when i was putting gas in it i looked to see if something was wrong with it and the frame tubes are about the same size as a bicycle frames tubes.

so no there was nothing wrong with it it was just an incompetent design and a motorcycle made more for stroking your ego and getting noticed than being a good bike.

Then no. Though the idea of having more control at the front is rather interesting.

look at the amount of stress that falls on the triple tree from the placement and angle of the forks. and how do the forks even do the job they are designed to do at that angle? and if the forks are not absorbing shock in the correct way it makes the entire thing unstable and causes wear at an accelerated rate.

what you have a picture of is a bike that if it for some reason actually gets ridden as opposed to parked and looked at is going to break in half one day as you ride down the interstate.

how is that better than the can am?

Riding a Harley Davidson or similar bike would get you a pretty hot girl. A three wheeler as shown would get you an over-the-hill, wannabe cougar.
