I'm addicted to caffine, so I drink at least one cup of coffee every morning.
Also, I find that just stretching, and jumping around a little bit does wonders for getting the body started.
Normal alarm goes off at 6am, and cellphone alarm goes off at full blast at 6:01 ;)
Its annoying as hell becasue once I shut my normal alarm clock off I'm still sort of out of it and I'm like "WTF IS THAT SOUND SHUT UP!" and I'm smacking all on my drawer to find what it is.
I have no problem getting up early when I have to. Now when there's no reason to get up early, then it's absolutely impossible for me to wake up before 10:30. Luncbox1hahaha me too.....i can get like 5 hours of sleep and wake up fine if i need too (albeit im kinda tired during the day) but if i dont HAVE to get up, i usaully can get up till i get like 10 hours
For me, when I know I'm not gonna get enough sleep, it helps me to set my alarm clock a good hour early.
This may seem stupid. You may think, "if you're that tired, why would you set your alarm clock EARLY"?
Here's the thing. Sometimes, you're just gonna wake up DEAD tired. You know it's gonna happen before you even go to the sleep for the night.
Here's the thing...when you're THAT tired, your first attempt to wake up has a high chance of failing. By setting your alarm early, and then hitting thew snooze button at each 10 minute interval, you get SIX attempts to wake up on time to get to work.
So that's what I do. I just set my alarm clock for REALLY early. Each time I hit the snooze button and then go to sleep, I don't fall asleep quite as previously as I had before.
After an hour of that ****, I'm awake enough to actually realize that I need to pull my ass out of bed.

Heh, I wish I could do that. I turn it off in my sleep. I try putting it across my room but I've reached the point of sleep walking and turning it off and going back to bed.

No, you don't understand. I do the same thing. That's why I give myself a good hour to wake up.
I mean, if I cal;culate the latest time I can wake up and still get to work on time, I'm gonna be late for work.
This is because being tired is a lot like being cold or being hot. As in, it's summer now, and it's hot. Do I know the temperature? No. It might be 95%. It might be 110%. I don't know. And I don't care. Once it reaches 95%, it's ****ing hot. If it gets a few degrees hotter, I'm not gonna notice te rise in temperature, I'm just going to continue to feel ****ing hot.
Likewise, if you're waking up dead sleepy, waking up 95% dead sleepy is equivalent to waking up 100% dead sleepy. When ypu finally do wake up, you're nopt sure exactly HOW dead sleepy you are. All you can tell is that you're dead sleepy.
So if I KNOW that I'm gonna wake up sleepy as hell, I set my alarm clock early.
Sure, I'll wake up sleepy as hell. But I also would've waken up sleepy as hell had I NOT set my alarm clock early.
