Buy a USB key, so many CD's and hours of your life waiting for CD's to burn saved.

Just use a program like NERO and burn it.... as a mixed media CD.  I would use a USB key though since that would be a waste of a CD for just one tiny file... or use a floppy disc....

If you have no USB key etc then just open the blank recordable CD by double clicking it.  Now drag the file from its present location to the CD.

There are many other ways including Copy and Paste.  You do not need Nero or anything like that for a normal file.

I hope you have a Blu-ray drive in your PC, because its the only way your ever going to be able to store all that data :P

JK, copy paste the file into your desired storage device. If putting onto CD, drag it to the CD, then find the burn command. But if you are just trying to transfer it to another computer to work on, I would suggest emailing the file to yourself. It only works if you dont have photos in the word doc because you would have to email the photos and re-link the paths to your doc.

Yeah, I never understood why people who burn a powerpoint to a CD to transport it to school. I know that ppt's are really hard to get on floppies since most powerpoints are like 3-8 megs or whatever for a presentation! I always just emailed them to myself.

I usually do that to get files from school to home and vice versa, when I forget my USB flash drive. Which is effectively all the time.
