People generally treat me as I've always been treated more often than not - like a thing that has no right to exist because I do not conform to narrow minded social expectations of what defines a person.Smokescreened84Those kind of people are the ones who have no right to exist.

I'm used to it, have been since I was a child. Many expect conformity and they act like it's a crime when someone prefers to just be themselves. I never understood that, people wanting you to be like they want you to be. Worst part is: People in this world try to live that way, living under what others say and think. We Hispanic people suffer from that. It's sad really. I for one could care less what people think of me, I was not brought into this world to satisfy people's wishes of seeing me be someone I don't wanna be.
People? You mean those drones who all follow the same trends, and mock and shun those who don't? You mean those organic robots who think they're so cool because they fit in with the rest of the crowd, even though they do so at the expense of true individuality? You mean those mindless meatbags who think that anyone who doesn't follow that pre-defined path of milestones through which someone becomes a living corpse fearful of the consequences of not doing so as a result of a liftime's worth of conditioning? To those morons, life is a picture on a postcard; that image in which everyone is standing side by side smiling and wearing designer clothing while engaging in some innocuous activity. "People" are vain, shallow, judgemental, and conformist. F*ck them.

I think you'd benefit greatly if you started seeing a psychiatrist.

All a psychiatrist would do is try to get me to become one of the "people". No thanks. I don't want to be a douchebag.

You've failed in that regard.
Worlock said the same thing yesterday. I've been really busy. :(
Palantas
Well you're one of the handful of users I actually enjoy. This place has been dismal without the hammer of Palantas to clean up the waste. :P
Welcome back?
Hm? Elaborate please I don't seem very interesting and I've been told that I look unfriendly. One of my teachers in middle school actually told me that she didn't know how to approach me because I might get mad or something.[QUOTE="Lonelynight"]They ignore me generally, I can see why though.SteverXIII

I agree with that wholeheartedly. If there aren't people out there that dislike you, resent you, or outright hate you - you're probably not keeping it real. You can learn as much about a person's friends as you can about his or her enemies. Same. It's better to be true to yourself, than to be true to a lie. How can anyone be true to anyone if they can't first be true to themselves? Conformity can take a long walk off a short pier, there's no fun in being the same as others.
EDIT - Smokescreen82, after three reposts, I give up. It keeps misquoting you. I was replying to you with agreement, however.
