How do you acquire money for spending? This is a question I've grown curious of due to people online with very nice computers. I wonder, when people brag about their amazing good computers (and some of them, indeed, are amazing) where do they come up with the money for such a computer? For people to post on this topic, here is some information I'd like to know: Your age Your source of money (job, parents, thievery, drug deals, etc.) What you spend your money on and if you spend your money on a computer as i do, please say so with your computers' specs. Here is my information: I'm 16 I work at my neighbours house doing yard work at 10 dollars an hour, doing such things as gardening, mowing lawns, etc. its boring work i spend my money on my computer I have an HP pavillion, 2gb ram, Radeon x1900xt video card, pentium 4 processor my computers ok but i plan to buy a new one. anybody else who would like to share their computer information and how they acquire the money to do so, please say so.
I'm 14. Because of my age, I obviously can't get a legal job. So I babysit, walk dogs, do odd jobs for people... stuff like that. Doesn't pay a fortune, but it definitely adds up. My parents give me some money too, every once in a while. I didn't buy my computer, so I guess that wouldn't count. But recently I've been spending money on various things. My PS2, Gamecube, PS1, entertainment system, leather chair with built in speakers, skateboard, and basketball hoop are some of the higher priced things I've bought within the last couple years.
im 15... and im praying to god tht even with me being small... i can still manage to get a job. Because here wheere i live, you can get some jobs at 15
I should have a job, but I suck, so I wait for my parents to give me money. I do chores occasionally, but it's more they give me money to buy food for myself or something and I just keep the change.

I have a decent computer but it had many out-dated parts. Im saving up to build the most kick-but lap top ever

my parents doesnt buy me xbox 360 thats sucks i mean they have the money they just dont buy :x what else i can do get a job am only 17 and i have school so job and school doesnt work togther
14 I mostly just do chores but I usually spend the money on the actual games rather than the systems so I still get some money left over for other hobbies.

That's a good point, but I still am obsessed with people liking me, so I will say this in my defense: my parents are great people. I still need to get a job, but I really can't till August.

I pretty much get my money from my parents and when I work about 7-8 weeks during the summer at a daycamp. The only reason I always have money and am never in need of money when I actually want to spend it is because I don't spend it on stupid things like I see a lot of people do. I actually save my money and have plenty of it to spend whenever I want in large amounts.
