For asking out, I'd usually call and say "Hey, I'm predicting that I'll be hungry Saturday night around 6 pm, come and join me?" after that I usually make plans and usually let my humor and sarcasm flow out.

Anyways, I actually don't have a lot of experience after she's my girlfriend. I usually lose them in about 6 months. But getting a girl to at least consider a date, yeah, you could say I'm pretty decent with that.

Well, it depends on how well you know the person.

Something along the lines of "Hey, wanna grab a bite to eat sometime?" would be sufficient.

If the response is positive, discuss details (time, place, etc)

If the response is negative, then change the subject of the conversation.

I usually try and charm them. i pride myself on my humor, which intensifies around when im around women. Then after a while of making them laugh and getting to know them. I get ther # and call or txt for a week or so. THEN I POUNCE!

I've seen some great looking men get denied because all they asked was something simple like "Would you like to go out sometime?", but I've also seen some average men ask something more subtle like "Hey, I'm going with some friends to some bar on friday night, and we need someone to fill up the empty seat, would you like to take it?" and they get a yes more often than the other dude would.

Then you start to make humor out of it later. Later on if she comes up to you, you ask "Were you the girl who spilt the drink, because I'm keeping mine right here away from you." You have to be more of a jerk at first, it shows them that you are confident. Then you work more with the funny. Later on, spill your drink, on purpose and see if she will give you a bad time. If she does make some humor. say something like "hey it could have been worse, I could have got it all over my clothes and made it look like I peed myself." Around this time is usually the best time to ask for her number. Then when you get her number, after a little while, start to act more sweet, you know, like the way men do in romance movies, but don't forget your humor and your jerk side. Now you start to say things like "I wouldn't mind if you spilled your drink on me, its not like I can't get some new clothes." or something similar. Movies are usually things that scare girls off, they don't like dark rooms on the first date.

And drinks are usually a bad idea. Some people don't handle alcohol or people who drink it very well.

Thats true. Being yourself is important, in fact I think it is the most important thing. But I think the pickup line is usually the make it or break it point. It's where most of the guys get the most problems.
