How do you copy MKV video files to PS3 HDD?

I have a bunch of video files that i want to transfer to my PS3. Is there any way that i can put all of my MKV files onto m,y PS3's HDD? I already tried putting them into a USB but they don't appear when i try to open the USB on XMB. If anyone knows something about it please let me know. Your help will be much appreciated.

You should try asking this on the ps3 forum. :) I'm sure that the users there will have a answer to this.
